The South Korean soprano, Eun-soo Park [Korean: 소프라노 박은수], obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Music from the College of Music, Chung-Ang University (Class of 2015: Studied under Young-ja Jung, former Professor of Vocal Music at Chung-Ang University). In 2015, she attended the International Music Academy of Cologne, Germany (studied under Samuel Yun, current Professor of Vocal Music at Seoul National University, Emily Hindricks, Andrea Andonian, and Arne Bilimczyk). She obtained her Master of Music degree with the highest honors in Music Performance Concert Solo Singing from the ZHdK Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, Switzerland (Class of 2021; studied under Lina Maria Äkerlund, Hans Adolfsson, and Flavio Ferri-Benedetti in Baroque Vocals).
Career and Awards: 2009 Music Education Newspaper High School Division 2nd Place (Currently studied under Professor Jae-yeon Baek at Seoul National University of Education); Actively participated in the 2019 Orphan Studio Zürich Director Brenda Hurley Workshop; 2019-2020 Performed Mozart's Masses as a soprano soloist at St. Anna Church in Obfikon-Gladburg and St. Peter and Paul Church in Obereggeri, Zürich; Active participation in the 2021 Angelika Kirchschlager Master-class in Weimar, Germany; Art Song Recital at Hwang In-yong's Music Space Camerata on December 28, 2023.
In 2022, after returning to Korea following a total of seven years of study abroad - 4 years in Germany and 3 years in Switzerland - he served as a soprano member of the Seoul Motet Choir and Collegium Vocale Seoul. Currently, she is a founding member of the Navitis Musica Renaissance Ensemble, a soloist at Ilshin Church in Jamwon-dong, a research member of the Liederreich German Lieder Society, and is actively engaged in various performance activities as a professional musician. |
