The Chilean choral conductor and music teacher, Felipe Ramos Taky, studied choral conducting at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2004-2008) and specialised in Chile, Spain, England, Peru and Argentina. Also deepened his studies in Renaissance music in the USA, England, and the Czech Republic. He has also obtained Innovation Management Diploma from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2016-2017).
Felipe Ramos Taky has performed on the most important stages in Chile and also abroad. He was Assistant Director of the UC Chamber Choir (March 2013-March 2019), Executive Coordinator of Crecer Cantando, evaluator for the Chilean Ministry of Education and advisor to the Ibáñez-Atkinson Foundation in the RedCoral programme.
Felipe Ramos Taky has served as Professor of Choral Conducting at Universidad Alberto Hurtado (March-July 2014); Music Teacher at The Grange School Chile (March 2011-July 2017). As Assistant Professor at the Music Institute of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (since March 2019), he read music and humanities. In addition, he has been a member of the jury of the National Choral Competition in various versions and in the 2018 San Juan Coral Grand Prix in Argentina.
He currently lives in Santiago, Chile. |
