The American choral conductor, Jonathan David Reuning-Scherer, obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics / Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance, Mathematics and Music from Oberlin College (1987-1991); his Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Yale School of Music (1998-2000), where is also studied Statistics and Organ Performance; and his Master of Arts/PhD degree in Statistics from Yale University (1992-1996; Dissetration: Mixture Models for Block Clustering).
Jonathan Reuning-Scherer worked as Statistician at Bayer (1998-2005). He has served as Director of Music at Emanuel Lutheran Church of Manchester in Connecticut (September 1997-May 2009); Director of Music at at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hartford, Connecticut (since May 2009). He is also Senior Lecturer at School of Forestry & Environmental Studies of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut (since September 2000); His research Interests: Computational and graphics statistics, density estimation, non-parametric regression. He currently lives in Hartford, Connecticut. |
