The Ukrainian bass-baritone, Daniel Semsichko, he began his music studies at the Music School No. 1 in his home city of Uzhhorod under the direction of Maria Mudranynets. In August 2018, he entered the music school named after Desideriy Zador (Ужгородський музичний фаховий коледж імені Д. Є. Задора) and studied opera singing in the class of Nadiia Pidgorodska. During his four-year studies (2018-2022) he gained a wide range of concert experience and also took part in all-Ukrainian and international competitions.
Since 2022, Daniel Semsichko has been studying at the Hochschule für Musik Mainz (HfMM) in the singing class of Andreas Karasiak. As part of his studies he has already been able to take part in many projects in a wide variety of ensembles. The focus of his studies is currently on Baroque music. His participation in the Barock Vokal Akademie under the direction of Elisabeth Scholl in 2023 was an important step in acquiring special skills and knowledge in the field of Baroque music. In the same year he was also able to win one of the coveted ZIRP scholarships (Zukunftsinitiative Rheinland-Pfalz).
Since the beginning of 2024, Daniel Semsichko has had the opportunity to work as a member of the Jungen Ensembles am Staatstheater Mainz, where he took on the role of Juri in Leonard Evers' opera Humanoid. |
