The Belgian conductor, choral conductor, organist, and pianist with a particular interest in composition, Patrick Valls, studied choral and orchestral conducting at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Spain (Class of 2021). He studied for his Master degee in Orchestral conducting at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles where he currently studies conducting and composition.
Patrick Valls has been organist and choirmaster of the Monestir de Sant Cugat, as well as conductor of several choirs in Catalonia. He is the founder and Artistic Director of the Bach Camerata de Catalunya and has worked as a repertoire pianist at international festivals such as the Lausitz Festival in Germany. He served as organist at Monestir de Sant Cugat (October 2015-2022); and Director of Coral Sant Sadurní (October 2018-October 2022). He is currently organist of Notre-Dame-aux-Riches-Claires in Brussels, and Director of the vocal & instrumental ensemble Camerata Aurea Vallis. He currently lives in Brussls, Belgium.. |
