Pierre-Michel Bédard is a Canadian-born organist, composer and choral conductor.
He studied composition and organ with Bernard Piché and Noëlla Genest at the Conservatoire de Musique de Trois-Rivières (Canada), finishing with diploma.
In 1981 Pierre-Michel Bédard moved to France. He served as organist and choir director at the Église Notre-Dame-des-Blancs-Manteaux and as maître de chapelle at the Basilique Sainte-Clotilde, both in Paris. He is now Professor of music history and music analysis at the Conservatoire (CNR) de Limoges.
