Cantata BWV 130 "Herr Gott, dich loben alle wir" (Lord God, we all praise you) was composed by J.S. Bach in Leipzig for the Feast of St Michael and All Angels of 1724. The cantata was performed in Leipzig again in 1732-1735 on the same event. The cantata is scored for soprano, alto, tenor & bass soloists; 4-part Chorus; and orchestra of 3 trumpets, timpani, transverse flute, 3 oboes, 2 violins, viola, & continuo.
