The German mezzo-soprano/contralto, Liselotte Fink, began her musical journey in the Kinderchor der Katholischen Kirchengemeinde St. Martin in Idstein. She initially studied opera and concert singing for her Bachelor's degree in the class of Professor Elisabeth Scholl at the Hochschule für Musik Mainz. Since October 2022, she has been furthering her studies with a Master's degree in concert singing in the class of Professor Alexandra Coku at the Hochschule für Musik in Würzburg. Within the Lied class, she is mentored by Gerold Huber and Andrea Marie Baiocchi. In addition to her studies, numerous master-classes have enriched her training and artistic development – for example, with Petra Lang, Siegfried Jerusalem, Marcelo Amaral, Arila Siegert, Marie-Paule Hallard, and Ulrich Messthaler. In May 2022, she won in Eltville/Rheingau the Heinz-Frankenbach-Wettbewerb für Barockgesang at the der Hochschule für Musik Mainz.
As a soloist, Liselotte Fink has performed in J.S. Bach's Johannes-Passion BWV 245 at the Rahmen der Tage Alter Musik im Saarland under the direction of Georg Grün, in Claudio Monteverdi's Vespers of the Blessed Virgin under the direction of Peter Reulein, in Martín Palmeri's Misa Tango conducted by Carsten Koch, and in numerous cantata services in the Rhine-Main region. In 2024, she participated in the internationalen Robert-Schumann-Wettbewerbs in Zwickau and the Internationalen Johann Sebastian Bach -Wettbewerbs in Leipzig.
Liselotte Fink also has a particular interest in ensemble singing. As a soloist with the Gutenberg Soloists, she has participated in several Telemann CD productions for the Telemann Project under the direction of Felix Koch. In 2022, she participated in the Chor-Akademie des Balthasar Neumann Chores, where, under the direction of Lionel Sow and Detlef Bratschke, as well as instructors from the Balthasar-Neumann-Chor (Director: Thomas Hengelbrock), she gained valuable experience in ensemble sound production and intonation. She is a member of the Kammerchor Stuttgart (Director: Frieder Bernius). |
