Musica ex Tempora (Instrumental Ensemble)

Musica ex Tempora (Russian: Франкфурт-на-Майне) was founded in 2015 by Asia Safikhanova and Vasiliy Antipov. They are a creative community of independent musicians. The ability of a person to share something from a pure heart with others is a great power. This is the basis of their team.

Mission

Music, being the thinnest of the arts, helps the soul rise above the differences. It unites souls, and even words are not needed here. Music is beyond words.
All people now feel the need for lively human attention and warmth, for healing with beauty.
Children in boarding schools, people with severe disorders of the nervous system, elderly people in nursing homes, cancer patients in hospices especially need the beauty and simple joy of life, which they can express with the help of sounds.
Classical music has a strong positive effect on all people, regardless of age, state of health, degree of involvement and other factors.
They onsider it their duty to share beauty and their discoveries and achievements. In a person’s ability to share something with others from a pure heart, great power lies.

Activities

They divided their activities into several areas:
1. Charity:
Music heals the soul, and indeed, music can really help many people. They play for them.
2. Educational activities:
All members of the artel are not only performers, but also music theorists, composers, philosophers and teachers. A very important task for them is to transfer their knowledge of music and culture to other people, to preserve the traditions of chamber music making, to be in dialogue with people who are not indifferent to art and to transfer the ability to listen and hear.
They constantly conduct master-classes, prepare lectures and concerts for the younger generation and all those interested, expand their repertoire and deepen their knowledge on the subject of art.
3. Travel:
They do not stop playing solo and chamber programs in the halls of philharmonic halls, palaces of culture, galleries and at exhibitions in various cities of Russia and abroad. Therefore, they travel a lot.
Their activity found a great response among their listeners, fellow musicians, and especially in themselves
Being constantly in the creative process, living in music and giving people beauty is the basis of their being.
