The Argentine soprano, Ayelén Regalado, holds a degree in Musical Arts, specializing in opera singing from the Universidad Nacional de las Artes. She studied voice at the del Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón. Her teachers have included Gustavo Lopez Manzitti, Alejandra Malvino, Patricia Gonzalez, Graciela de Gyldenfeldt, Rozita Zozulia, and Bruno Dastoli, among others. In 2014, she won 1st Prize at the 16th National Singing Competition of La Scala de San Telmo, and in 2015 she received a scholarship from the Mozarteum Argentino.
As a soloist, Ayelén Regalado e is known for her participation in symphonic-choral works, concerts with orchestras (Orqustra Sinfonica Juvvenil Libertador San Martin), operas (Kammerat, Lírica Lado B), and chamber music concerts in various venues in Buenos Aires, Córdoba, and Austria, where she lived for four years and developed an intense musical career in choral music (Wiener Singakademie, Philharmonia Chor Wien, Bühne Baden: May-December 2022) and as a soloist with the Kammerat chamber group, with whom she gave numerous concerts in Baden bei Wien.
Ayelén Regalado was a member of the Coro MusicaQuantica (2007-2014), with whom she won numerous international awards, and of the Coro Polifonico Nacional in 2016. She is also a member of the Coro de Cámara de la Provincia de Córdoba (since2September 2014). She currently resides in Córdoba, where she continues her teaching and solo work with various chamber, Baroque, and operatic ensembles. She married the conductor Camilo Santostefano in 2016. |
