קוריוז קטן ומעניין שלא נתקלתי בו באתר שלך הוא שמשמעות השם באך בעברית היא פלג או יובל
והשם יובל מוזכר גם בספר בראשית פרק ד׳ פסוק כא׳:
ושם אחיו, יובל: הוא היה--אבי, כל-תופש כינור ועוגב.
לאחר מסע בן שנה שבו האזנתי ולמדתי את הקנטטות הדתיות והחילוניות של באך לפי המועדים שעבורם הן נכתבו פתחתי קבוצה קטנה בפייסבוק בשם ״יוהן סבסטיאן באך״ ובה אני חוגג בכל שבוע ״ום הולדת״ לקנטטה ומפרסם פרק מתוכה עם תרגום לעברית המלווה בכמה מילים המתארות השראה מסוימת ואת הרקע לאותו הפרק
אם תמצא בזה עניין אנני יודע אך אתה מוזמן לבקר בדף במידה ותחפוץ - אין צורך לבקש אישור או כל דבר אחר

Thanks a lot for your website. It looks very good. My uncle - Robert E.A. Lee produced a film on J.S. Bach around 1981 or 83. It is called The Joy of Bach. It doesn't appear to be listed.

This is to say thank you very much for moderating your Bach Cantata site. For me it is one of the great joys of the Internet age. The wealth of knowledge shared - only occasionally marred by some intemperate commentators ( out of your control) - is staggering. Very useful and very humbling.
I have meant to thank you for years and the trigger for this message is my discovery today that you have updated the calendar so I can continue to identify and play the cantata(s) for the occasion they were written as I have since I first found your website.
