The Website
I have looked up bach-cantatas.com for many years. I am amazed at the wealth of information contained on the site.
In March 2020 my wife and I started watching the vocal works for church performed by the Netherlands Bach Society. We finished them all by March 2021.
Then we started watching the cantatas performed by the JS Bach Foundation, which we hope to continue until we have listened to all their performances.
I consulted bach-cantatas.com to know when during the year to watch a performance; the Bible readings for that day, and to find the choral prelude, if any, for a given cantata.
Thank you very much for the work that was done on the website.
When a work is particularly meaningful to us for some reason, I send the information about it to my friends who appreciate Bach’s music.
