The Accademia Musicale Dodekachordon is a social promotion association founded in Verona in 2004 to organize and manage the activity of the Coro Marc'Antonio Ingegneri of Verona. It aims to promote and spread vocal and instrumental musical culture by organizing concerts, exhibitions, reviews, festivals, courses and educational activities in collaboration with the Institutions and important musical realities present in the area, weaving active artistic relationships with Italian and foreign singers, musicians, directors, teachers and musical groups.
Thanks to the support and patronage of public and private entities, the Accademia Musicale Dodekachordon has organized symphonic, chamber and choral concerts, activating collaborations with the Associazione Veneta Amici della Musica, Accademia Filarmonica di Verona, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Verona Brass Quintet, Orchestra “Ensemble Suavis”, I Virtuosi Italiani, elements of Quartetto Maffei, Orchestra da Camera “Lorenzo Da Ponte”, Orchestra “Interpreti Italiani”, Gruppo Corale “Venezze Consort” di Rovigo, etc.
Important musicians, singers, directors, teachers and musicologists have participated in the Accademia's projects, including Roberto Andreoni (composer), Roberto Balboni, Glauco Bertagnin, Professor Don Giulio Cattin, Vincenzo Di Donato (tenor), Federico Donadoni, Umberto Forni, Federico Guglielmo, Gianfranco Montresor, Chiara Parrini, Roberto Paruzzo, Laura Polverelli, John Rutter (conductor/composer), Susanne Kristina Satz and Matteo Valbusa (conductor).
The Orchestra Dodekachordon participates in the regular concerts and recordings of the Coro Marc'Antonio Ingegneri. |
