SMP by Joshard Daus

I'd like to put in some good words about the SMP recording by Joshard Daus and the "Bach-Ensemble der EuropaChorAkademie". It is on Arte Nova Classics, CD # 74321 80779 2, and you can see it on Aryeh's website at: http://www.bach-cantatas.com/Performers/Daus.htm
I bought it at Crochet Webstore without much thinking and with no special anticipation. However, listening to this performance turned out to be a splendid experience! It is a surprisingly fresh and well-balanced effort, with a very good recorded sound [despite a few tehchnical "hickups", perhaps due to the fact that it was spliced together from two successive "live" concerts].
The soloists are not that well known, and none was really outstanding, but at the same time none was sub-par either. Daus introduces sveral "innovations" in dymnamic changes and "dramatic" nuances, but not as many as in the Zu Guttenberg recording. The pace is slower too at 2:55 TT.
The liner notes, alas, are minimal.
I can recommend this SMP to "collectors" as a worthy additional version, although it does not rank among the really outstanding ones.
I'd like to know if any of you fellas had heard this SMP, and what were your thoughts.
Thanks
